Hi guys!
We recently integrated MFC share into the Profile Builder with the introduction of the MFC Share section type. This new feature allows you to quickly add your MFC Share profile to your Myfreecams Profile. You can learn more about this update here . We plan to add more features to this soon to make it more flexible and easy to use. In the meantime we’ve had several models ask us if it’s possible to embed a single MFC Share album or Collection into the Profile Builder. This is helpful if you sort your videos and pictures into categories or you want to showcase specific items.
There’s a really easy way to do this and this post will show you how!
Let’s get started!
Step 1. Create a new Basic Section.
Step 2. At the top left side of the Basic Section Editor click to swap to the Editor Tab.
Step 3. At the top right side of the Editor tab click the Text Tab. This tab usually holds the html code of your Basic Section so advanced users can add their own HTML.
Step 4. Go to your MFC share account and open the Collection or Album you wish to embed. Click the “Share” button at the top.
Step 5. Click the Embed tab then click the green Copy button to copy the embed code.
Step 6. Come back to the Profile Builder and paste the code (Ctrl+V) into the text area of the Editor.
That’s it!
You can switch back to the visual tab and it should show you a preview of your embed. Click back to the Visual Tab to see how it will look. Then save your changes and go back to the Profile Builder Preview window to see it on your profile.
You can repeat this process as many times as you want. You can stack the embed codes in one basic section or create separate basic sections for each one.
Tip: In the Visual tab of the Basic Section Editor, once you have added your embed code. You can select it by right clicking and choosing “select all” (or Ctrl+A) then click the “center” icon in the visual editor toolbar. This will center your embeded item. This can be helpful in the case of individual albums.
I hope this was helpful.
